Software Engineer
June 2020 - Present
Joined USAA in June 2020 as a backend developer specializing in REST APIs. Expanded my expertise to include full-stack development, contributing to enterprise-wide applications using Java, Spring Boot, React, Salesforce, and various technologies. Designed, developed, and maintained applications integral to automation, back-of-house services, and compliance.
Programming Intern
May 2019 - May 2020
Utilized ASP.NET and C# to refactor in-house applications at Trapp Technology, unifying distinct APIs into a REST design. This design streamlines future deployments, making implementation easier and faster. Instead of multiple calls or outputs for each connected API, there is now a single point of interaction, simplifying API usage.
Software Engineering Intern
May 2018 - Aug 2018
Led the development of an algorithm to assess future inventory needs, determine purchase prices, and set sales prices based on current market trends at Phoenix Group Metals. Leveraged Python, particularly the Pandas library, to automate the data analytics process within the system.
